What our talanted youth company have been up to in the last few years

Performance on 5th Dec 2010 at The Dance Show at The Clothes Show:

ACE Youth were invited by DanceXchange to perform at The Dance Show: the latest edition to the well-known Clothes Show, a celebration of all things trendy, held at the NEC in December every year.

Spring 2009 Birmingham Schools Tour with Being Frank
In spring 2009 ACE dance and music was successful in securing funding from Birmingham City Council for tour of Birmingham schools. ACE Youth, alongside the male youth dance company Being Frank, toured to Birmingham ‘cold spot’ schools, which do not access external dance or arts input on a regular basis. This programme of work was specifically planned to develop children and young people as creators, audiences, participants and leaders. As well as benefitting workshop participants who have had little or no previous experience of dance, ACE Youth and Being Frank members gained new skills and confidence from acting as peer mentors.
